The Republic of Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa, bordered by Guinea on the north, Liberia on the south, with the Atlantic Ocean on the west.  Emerging from a devastating ten year war resulted in the degradation of many of its critical institutions including healthcare and education.

The mission of The HOME Initiative organization is to contribute resources to assist in restoring these institutions. As a first step we will concentrate our efforts in supporting the healthcare and tertiary education sectors.
